Gulliver is located in the Upper Peninsula just 12 miles east of Manistique, on the shores of Gulliver Lake.
It has four lakes, Gulliver, McDonald, Clear and Little Muddy Lake. The Seul Choix Point Lighthouse is an operational light and the only working light on the northern shores of Lake Michigan.
A day trip to Manistique is a must do while visiting Gulliver. Kitch-iti-kipi is Michigan's largest spring spanning two hundred feet across and forty feet deep.
While most trolls reside under the Mackinac Bridge, Benny the Beard Fisher is a wooden troll created by artist Thomas Dambo. The sculpture’s stature is around 30 feet long and 14 feet tall. The giant troll’s head, hands, and feet were manufactured in Denmark and shipped to Germfask ahead of Dambo’s arrival. The remainder of his body was assembled on-site in July 2023. Check out Northland Outfitters while you are there and do some camping or kayaking!
Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore hugs the south shore of Lake Superior in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. It's known for the dramatic multicolored Pictured Rocks cliffs. Unusual sandstone formations like Miners Castle and Chapel Rock define the park’s headlands.
At Natures Kennel - Dog Sledding Adventures and Education are one of the fun and you can experience! They are a short distance from Naubinway or Gulliver. Even though sled dog racing takes place in the winter, sled dog training and team building takes place all year!
Seney National Wildlife Refuge was established in 1935 as a refuge and breeding ground for migratory birds and other wildlife. The wild land that today is the refuge has not always appeared so wild. This is a land that was once heavily logged, burned, ditched, drained and cultivated.
